The Good, the Bad, and the....Confusing?
This site is designed to take the confusion out, add a little understanding, a pinch of learning, and a whole lot of fun.
We're going to cover copyright, and some of its lesser-known siblings: Licensing and Software Piracy, Fair Use, Teach Act, Plagiarism, and Web/Wiki Publishing. So without further ado, let's get started!
Copyright. You may have heard the word...but just what does it mean?
Copyright can be a pretty confusing topic, and it comes with a variety of issues. Who owns it? Who can use it? How do you cite it properly? These are a few questions that commonly arise when copyright is mentioned. This page is designed to help you answer those questions, as well as provide a resource to give you a little background on some of the more important aspects of copyright that teachers (and students!) in the classroom should be aware.
Although you can select any of the topics at the top of the page, let's start small and work our way up, shall we? Click the Licensing and Software Piracy button below to get started.
